On 1st July 2006 the RoHS directive came into force, restricting
the use of certain hazardous substances such as lead. However,
this legislation has various exclusions, exemptions and relaxations - for

As an Electronics Manufacturer serving numerous clients, CorinTech has requested detailed RoHS requirements
from our clients, who remain the design authority for their products. The clear instructions in response from its
clients have been assessed and implemented by the Engineering and Design teams and approved by the Quality
Department, to ensure full RoHS product compliance where required.
Components and assemblies that have migrated to RoHS compliance are identified by a change in part number
and also, as required, in the issue level. The information is recorded in our documentation and system database.
The changes in component and part number information required to comply with RoHS legislation are advised
to our customers, so that their own product databases and documentation can be revised.
Here at CorinTech the production processes are ready for RoHS assembly. Having worked with industry
suppliers and distributors to ensure component availability where practical, we are confident that the
designated products produced at CorinTech meet the requirements of RoHS legislation.
Note: Whilst CorinTech is fully committed to designing and manufacturing RoHS compliant product we recognise
that our numerous clients have different needs. In support of their clients CorinTech will retain and maintain
the full capability of producing leaded assemblies.
